Association for International Work in Sports "Ra'anana eV" is a
non-profit association to promote the task of international-mindedness,
tolerance in all areas of culture and international understanding.
Among the statutory purposes:
(1) The purpose of the association is to promote international attitude, tolerance in all areas of culture and international understanding.
(2) Another purpose of the association is to promote the sport in connection with the promotion of youth welfare.
(3) By the "method Sport" a cross-border understanding between people is created and openness and tolerance is promoted. The aim is ostensibly to international understanding through the application of athletic training and services, mediation sporting values and sporting practice nursing.
(4) The Association is committed to the free democratic basic order and advocate for involvement, participation and responsibility of young and older people. The club also joins for international understanding and respect for human rights. He is politically, religiously, economically and ethnically neutral.
These purposes are also the basis of the range of duties of the association, who is also a member of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel Sports Association and in the National Sports Federation.
The aim is ostensibly to international understanding through the application of athletic training and services, mediation sporting values and sporting practice nursing. The club was founded to fill a niche role in the field of sport structures. Mostly sports clubs are promoting only sport, but mainly the competitive sport is meant. The approach to use these funds for additional athletic tasks is only rarely used. This is where the association's work to develop a complementary range of sports structures starts.
As a practical duties of the association has defined the international youth work as its main activity:
These include the full organization of youth exchange activities, the preparation and evaluation of international projects of the city of Brandenburg, and the provision of information for sports clubs in and around Brandenburg an der Havel to international projects.
The club trains youth leaders for these actions together with the local youth sports federation and is cooperating with the youth welfare in the city. International projects already exist with partners in Israel, England, Japan and France, in which the work with the Israeli partner's is the current core business.
Meanwhile the Ra'anana association has 20 has volunteer members. Ra'anana e.V. was founded in January 2008. Almost all projects are implemented in cooperation with the city of Brandenburg an der Havel youth sports.
